You are Designed to Connect

When talking isn’t enough

Many people who come to my practice are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware.

You may have read the self-help books, mentally understand your patterns and recognize what’s happening in the moment.

And yet, when relationships become stressful or something touches an old wound, your body can react before your mind catches up. You might overthink, over-explain, take responsibility for others’ emotions, or put your own needs aside to keep the peace.

Over time, it can start to feel like you’re caring for everyone else while losing connection with yourself.

This isn’t a failure of insight, it’s often your nervous system doing what it learned to do to survive earlier experiences

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor, and sessions are typically covered by most extended health benefits.

Rebuilding connection from the inside out

At Well Connected Therapy, our work focuses on helping you reconnect with yourself in a deeper and more embodied way.

Not just understanding your experiences, but helping your nervous system process them so they no longer have the same hold on you.

Using EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Biofeedback tools, we gently explore the moments that still feel activating, the relationship triggers, the old patterns, and the experiences your body may still be carrying.

Grounded in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy as developed by Pat Ogden, my approach recognizes the organic unity of mind and body and supports healing through present-moment awareness, nervous system regulation, and embodied experience.

It’s about helping your system integrate what it has been holding so that you can move through your life with more steadiness, clarity, and self-trust.

Therapy with me may resonate if you are ready to

• understand yourself more deeply
• shift long-standing relationship patterns
• stop over-functioning for others
• feel more grounded under stress
• reconnect with your intuition and boundaries

Sessions tend to feel thoughtful, grounded, and connected, a space where insight and embodiment come together so change feels achievable.
