Your Questions, Answered

  • Our work together will be collaborative, compassionate, and paced in a way that feels manageable. Sessions are 50 or 80 minutes and may include talk therapy, EMDR, or body-based approaches depending on your goals and comfort level.

You are always in control of the pace.

  • Yes. I offer both in-person and secure online sessions.

If you are feeling unwell or unable to attend in person, we can switch your appointment to an online session whenever possible. Please email me as soon as you can to arrange this.

  • Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. I do not double-book this space.

I require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

This policy allows me to offer the space to another client who may be waiting for support.

  • If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment will be considered a no-show and the full session fee will apply.

  • I do not respond to emails over the weekend.

If you need to cancel or change a Monday appointment, please do so by Friday to avoid late cancellation fees.

  • For privacy and confidentiality reasons, therapeutic conversations are held during scheduled sessions only. Email is used for administrative purposes such as scheduling.

If something important arises between sessions, please make a note and we can address it at our next appointment.

  • I do not direct bill at this time in Gibsons, but direct billing is offered at my North Vancouver Clinic (Mastermind). After each session, you will receive a receipt that you can submit to your extended health provider for reimbursement.

Please check with your provider to confirm coverage for a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).
