About
I have a deep fascination with people, the ways we connect, protect, adapt, and search for meaning within the complexity of being human. This curiosity shapes both my work as a therapist and how I move through the world. I’m drawn to what forms us, what keeps us stuck, and what becomes possible when we feel safe in our bodies.
As a member of the Canadian Women’s National Rowing Team, I experienced both the drive and the cost of high-performance sport. Competing internationally and ultimately placing fifth at the 2014 Rowing World Championships, I lived in a world of discipline, pressure, and constant striving. While there were moments of pride, I also experienced the toll, disconnection, exhaustion, and a sense that achievement was never enough. That experience now informs my work in a very human way: supporting people in building a sense of self that is not dependent on performance or external validation.
My work is grounded and embodied. I integrate EMDR and nervous system–based therapy to support thoughtful, capable people who often carry more than they realize. Many of the women I work with are high-functioning and self-aware, yet feeling stretched thin, caught in patterns of over-functioning, or unsure how to shift long-standing relational dynamics.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m still very much a human being in process. I love lifting weights, backcountry adventures, live music, and wandering thrift stores. My dog, Archie, is a constant reminder of presence, play, and boundaries. Whether in the woods, the gym, or community, I’m practicing what I invite clients into: living more honestly, feeling more fully, and staying connected to what matters.
